The Sound Well has moved out of our old location to a small space down the street....
As of October 1st 2009 we will be sharing Handy Electronics @ 1467 University Ave. located in the first block below Sacramento Ave. Our new "business roommate" Ying Han is an excellent video techincian who has been in business over 20 years.
BY CAR:
From Interstate 80 take the University Avenue exit and proceed east about a mile towards the UC Campus. We are now on the North side of University between Sacramento and Acton. There is generally adequate metered street parking close by. Make sure you plug the meter!! If you are unable to find street parking it is OK for our customers to use the Rodeway Inn parking lot a few yards west of our shop.
By BART:
We are now closest to the North Berkeley Bart Station. Exit the station and walk 3 blocks south on Sacramento heading in the direction of Oakland. At University Ave turn right and head west towards the bay. We are at 1467 inside of Handy Electronic Service in that first block below Sacramento.
By Bus:
AC Transit runs the 51 bus up and down University Ave. during the hours we're open Saturday. You can get off at Sacramento Street and walk a half block west (towards the bay) to get to our shop.
We're not going away but shrinking to adapt to this crazy economic climate. We appreciate all your support and plan on continuing to do this in smaller form for a while!
