For Sale on eBay
FAQ
We choose to put some of the items we sell on eBay - the online
auction site. We will be doing more of this under our current business model since we have moved!
Below are answers to frequently asked questions about our
eBay sales:
Q: What items does The Sound Well put on eBay?
A: We place our collectable items that we want to open up
to the world market made possible by the Internet. We also put
a lot of the weird, quirky stuff out of our back room.
Q: If something is listed on eBay, can I buy it directly?
A:Only if we offer a "Buy it Now" option on the E-Bay auction. If not we always let auctions run their course and finish. However,
if you're local, you can pick up items by appointment that
you win on our eBay auctions. We have to collect sales tax on all items shipped within California or picked up here regardless of where you live!
Q: Does The Sound Well use reserves in the items they sell
on eBay?
A: Sometimes. Most of our major components do have a reserve
price which is a hidden number. We do follow the often ignored
eBay rule of our hidden reserve price being no more than four
times the opening bid price. Some of our auctions do NOT have
a reserve price.
Q: I've heard The Sound Well sells off it's back room oddities
under a different E-Bay sellers name. How do I find those auctions?
A: We sell our really weird stuff under
the name "AudioASIS." Somehow it seems confusing
to list high end gear right next to junk and we wanted
to create a separate selling outlet for those items. These items
are for the true hobbyist and not for the faint of heart! We will
pack them with the same care we give our good stuff, but all of
the audioasis stuff is STRICTLY as-is!
